Opportunities
Opportunity records identify events that may create live-event production work. The current opportunity package contains 254 records and is used by the Opportunities, Calendar, Map, Sources, and Schedule views.
Data model
Each opportunity record can include a festival name, city, state, venue or site, public event dates, approximate production/build window, approximate strike/load-out window, public producer or promoter information, departments touched, public source references, and display notes that are safe for public use.
Departments
Department data supports filtering and context where the current page uses it. Opportunities and Employers expose department filtering; Map currently uses state and date/month filtering.
Employers
Employer records point to official public company pages, careers pages, application pages, contact pages, or relevant organization pages. General employer listings are not treated as confirmed event-specific contracts.
Festival registry
The festival master list currently contains 258 records. It acts as a registry and intake control file. A registry record is not automatically an active public opportunity until it is verified and promoted or matched into app data.
Map coordinates
Map coordinates are used for travel clustering and location review. Most current opportunities are mappable; records without reliable exact locations remain intentionally unmapped instead of using invented pins.
Public cycle scope
Verified future-year records use separate year-specific IDs. A public-cycle guard keeps future-year records out of the default 2026 active view unless a future cycle view is intentionally added.
Sources
Source references are kept on the Sources page. This keeps event popups and employer views focused on work mapping while still allowing public references to be reviewed separately.
Supplemental audit views
Branches, Matrix, and Analytics are retained for deeper review. Analytics includes an action-first research queue, but that queue is supplemental audit scaffolding and not a primary public filter or job-offer system.
Excluded public data
Production Atlas does not publish private contacts, personal emails, phone numbers, pay rates, hotel details, private field notes, client-sensitive information, NDA information, rumors, or private referrals.
